I spent a little more than two months at K2 in late 2001.
About 2 years after my deployment, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in and around my left tonsil.

Although I was 100% service connected through the Army and the VA, I do not qualify to receive my retirement until age 60 because my injuries were not “combat related”
